Your memory is scattered across apps.

Every app you use keeps its own memory of you, built from the one slice of your life it can see. Your context is siloed, incomplete, opaque, and most importantly, not yours.

You should own your context.

One unified, access-controlled memory that you own and can bring to any app or agent.

Software has a name for handing a component the things it depends on, instead of letting it build its own: dependency injection. Ruune is dependency injection for memory. A new app or agent should never have to build its own memory of you. Instead, you hand it yours: as much or as little as you choose, for as long as you choose.

That is what makes the biggest unlock possible: privacy. A memory that is handed in rather than held can be kept private by design, and in time can run on hardware you own.

What we're building

  • The vault: the memory itself, compiled from everything you capture, yours to see, correct and take with you.
  • The capture layer: note for your conversations and calls, hvisla for your health and quick memos, with more to come.
  • heimdall: the assistant inside the Ruune desktop app that puts the memory to work, surfacing the right thing at the right moment.

The mission is to take the parts of our lives that agents cannot see and make them legible, and not just legible but useful, inside a memory that stays yours.
