Julian asks in Slack what Grace was asking about in yesterday's meeting. Double-tap, pick one of three takes, and Heimdall writes the answer from yesterday's call notes straight into Slack's composer. Highlight it, bring Heimdall up, type "shorter", and it tightens right there. Not a chat window you copy from: it writes where your cursor is, in Slack, Chrome, Mail, anywhere.

As you move between apps, Heimdall keeps the text of what you're working on in an encrypted local timeline, so the context is there when you need it.

In any text field, your shortcut brings Heimdall up over your work. He reads the field you're in and pulls the matching context from your history and your conversations.

Heimdall reads on-screen text through macOS Accessibility APIs, never screenshots or recordings. When you ask it to draft a reply, only the small slice of context needed for that response is sent to a zero-retention model that never stores or trains on it. Your memory itself stays local.

Each shortcut targets one language: the defaults are ⌃1 for English and ⌃2 for Spanish, and you can add one for Japanese, French, or any of the forty-one.
